Hi, we are still waiting to see monarchs laying naturally here in Dunedin despite the fantastic summer and as it get cold quickly at end of summer would love some help getting some eggs on leaves sent here? It’s easily done so if anyone can help myself and a friend with many waiting plants would love to hear from you. Happy to pay costs compensation etc. Jacqui has already been amazing helping us but we still have lots of mature plants ready to go if anyone else can help?

    Thanks 🙂

Hi Katrina – I saw that Mosgiel Mitre 10 had swan plants with large caterpillars on them for sale a week or two ago and they sold quickly. If you can show patience (for another couple of weeks) I am sure those newly hatched Monarchs will hunt out your plants then you will have more caterpillars than you can handle.

PS – I just started a facebook group for Dunedin butterfly fans –

    regards Rachel
