    Hi there

Our wonderful friends at Sandfield have upgraded our website and forum to the latest tools and plugins so that things run smoothly and we have less hits from spammers etc etc. Should you notice that anything is not working properly, please let me know.

I have noticed that now every time I post a message in the forum I get emailed a copy. This shouldn’t be happening as I haven’t put a tick in the box that says “Notify me of follow-up reples via email” so if this happens to you too, you’ll be aware that Sandfields will be looking into this.

Hi I have a chrysalis 2 weeks old hanging from a swan plant. I’m worried it wont hatch. It was in an enclsed back porch but brought it inside this morning where it is warmer. Is that right thing to do? I have another new chrysalis a couple days old on another plant in back porch. Should that come inside too? I’m in Christchurch.

I have caterpillars about to starve, anyone in Mamaku or Rotorua with spare swan plants?

Hello we urgently need some more swan plant to feed our Monarch caterpillars. This is the first time I have planted swan plants and I didn’t realize how fast the leaves would disappear after having lots of eggs hatch.

A good lesson of learning but now I am really needing the plants to feed them and can’t find any in the stores anymore. We are in Wellington (Ngaio) if anyone has some to spare?

I have posted on the Facebook page FYI but thought I’d try here also.

I have plenty of caterpillars if you would like some – Pyes Pa, Tauranga.
    Thank you – Di.

If anyone needs Monarch caterpillars in Dunedin feel free to flick me a message – we usually have plenty to spare from November onwards. This year is no exception! 🙂

All good 🙂 Thought there might be a way to change it.

I don’t think so, Dane. A few years ago now we lobbied to get the settings changed to this order, as the most recent post was always in chronological order. The original post always stayed at the top but in the original way it meant that you’d click on the topic, and then with topics where there were a lot of comments, you’d have to click again to go to the last page to read the most recent comment.

So this surely is better than that!

Is there anyway to change your own settings so the posts are going in chronological date order down the page so the newest post is at the bottom?
