    Hi all

    We have posted some forum rules, guidelines really, so everyone can see how the forum works smoothly. They are to the right, above the hot tags, and below where you register/log in. They are also below:

    Please read through them and ask questions if you have any.

    Welcome to the forum of the Monarch Butterfly New Zealand Trust. We hope that you will enjoy participating and find it useful. It?s a friendly place and we welcome visitors? the forum is open to everyone who registers and agrees to abide by these rules, whether you are a financial member of the MBNZT or not.

    ? Make sure your message is posted in the appropriate section (Butterflies, Research or Forum Help).

    ? Please search the forum for earlier discussions which might answer your question(s) ? you can add to the discussion and reopen the

    topic if you like, rather than opening a new topic.

    ? When replying or posting a new message and before you click on 'Submit', please enter a few key words (called tags) separated by commas to help someone find your topic. For instance if your post is about Monarch caterpillars about to pupate type 'Monarch,caterpillars,chrysalis'. The keywords will show up in the hot tags to the right of your screen. When you click on a hot tag it shows what forum posts cover this topic. You can use the existing hot tags to help you decide on keywords for your own message.

    ? Each member is limited to one account/username. Do not impersonate other individuals or falsely represent yourself. You must have a valid email account where you can be reached by a forum moderator or


    ? Posting of material to which you do not own the copyright is not permitted. This includes the posting of large portions of articles from this or any other online or print publication, as well as posting large portions of posts from other forums or mailing lists (unless you are the author of the post).

    ? Advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, spam, virus warnings and solicitations are not allowed. These will be removed at the discretion of forum moderators and the author warned. Repeat offenders will be banned.

    ? Do not post messages that violate the laws of this country or discuss, suggest, engage, or encourage any illegal activity. Links provided to locations that deal with any such activity are also expressly forbidden.

    ? NO personal attacks will be tolerated ? this is called ?flaming?. Discuss the issue, not the poster.

    ? Do not use profanity in your postings.

    ? When quoting previous messages, please only refer to the relevant part, do not repeat the whole message.

    ? Respect people?s privacy. Do not post personal information (i.e., addresses, phone numbers, passwords etc) without the express permission of the individual.

    ? We reserve the right to edit, reprint, distribute, or delete any posting for any reason and without prior notification or explanation to the author. Moderator(s) frequently review forum messages for those that are in violation of forum rules. We also reserve the right to ban any user, at any time, and for any reason.

    ? We take no responsibility for the content of any of the messages posted in this forum or of the authenticity of its authors. All opinions and views expressed in the MBNZT forum are solely those of their respective authors and are not necessarily those of the MBNZT.

    ? Do not argue with the enforcement of these rules. If any moderator tells you to comply with one of these rules, you must comply. In all cases, moderators will exercise their judgement and their decision is final.

    Just FYI Its still not sticking to the top Jacqui. Feel free to delete this post.



    1/ I see the word "sticky" up the top…is this thread a sticky? If its not it should be. Looking at it at the moment it is 2nd in the batting order on the main page.

    2/ Is there any reason why this has to be in PDF form? Wouldnt it be easier for folks to see by just clicking on the link and the text comes up without having to DL a PDF?
