Grubs wanted

    Is there someone who can send some grubs (say 10) to me. Got eggs but they appear to be infertile and the butterfly which was visiting is no longer around. I will pay for courier to Blenheim.

    All good – eggs have hatched. So no longer need grubs.

    You need nectar plants to attract butterflies and swan plants for the female monarchs. Caryl

    Hi Jacqui – Thanks. Been three weeks now. This winter we had three monarchs drifting around our place. WE been here in Renwick 14 years now and this was a first.

    Hi Doug – are you talking about monarchs?

    The eggs will take a little while to hatch at this time of the year… so don’t give up on the ones you have.

    I don’t have enough yet to be sharing them around. Hopefully someone might be able to help.
