I was reading the piece in the Summer issue about healthy swan plants.

I don’t have a compost. What fertilizer do others use?

I use worm wee … its a lot safer than many/most commercial brews. I’ve also put some of my own compost made from food scraps into some of my potted plants and used some bark mulch.
I’ve got a little worm farm but found it does not act like a big one and drip worm wee to the bottom so I take out a lump of their very wet bedding stuff and extract the worms and wash the stuff out to make my own fertilizer. seems to work fine.
