Very good article. Our Channel 4 TV station in the UK once did a program about conservation where exactly the same topic was covered. One of the Scientists from London Zoo said that because insects and frogs etc are not Large, fluffy and cute looking he struggled for research funds and conservation money, whereas the Tigers and similar did very well.
