New to growing Swan Plants but one of my plants I have in a pot has been eaten to where it is just the main stalk and some new buds arriving its practically naked.
Can I cut the stalk down to where the growth is about to appear or just stick it in the green house to regrow?

Hi Johnnine – I always make the cut just above a node (a node is the point on a stem where leaves are attached and buds form) and slant it so that when it gets wet there is less chance of the water sitting there. Also give it protection from snails and slugs.

If you don’t prune it as I suggest, there is more likelihood that the uneaten piece of stem will die back anyway.
