My new pillar house

    I am raising caterpillars this year in one of those kit set Pvc covered little greenhouses (pic uploaded to website “photos”). It great to protect them from those darn wasps. Last year had to use net curtains over plants but this is much better. Probably would he far too hot in one up north but as our temps don’t get high here in Dunedin it’s working great. Those darn wasps are amazing predators …the other day I took pillar plants inside as was a warmer day than usual and left door of wee greenhouse open to get rid of condensation and in five minutes I already had three wasps in it!!!!!

    That looks great! We have had pretty hot days in Dunedin the last few weeks. How about the door opening covered by net curtain – then you could have some air flow and keep the wasps out.
