    Hi guys,

I have put a big net over my swanplants to stop the wasps attacking my caterpillars. Is this a good idea? Or is it better for the plants to be out free. The butterflies lay the eggs on the net and they go into the plants. But the aphids are out of control. How do i add a photo?

Hi Steph – that’s what I recommend. Don’t make it airtight, you just want to make it harder for the wasps to get into the bush to find the caterpillars. They tend to fly around the outside.

Making it airtight will just mean that aphid predators won’t be able to get in there.

    Good luck!
