I know I’m going to sound absolutely hopeless here but some of my swan plants have flowers. Can I get seeds from them for next year? If so, do I pick the flowers or wait until they drop?

Yes, you can get seeds from them for next year. Just leave them to do their own thing. If the flowers are fertilised, you can watch the development of the seed pods – it’s a fascinating “journey” of discovery.

Take a look at this here, I can watch this again and again. It’s a “cousin” of the swan plant, but the process is still the same.
