Hi everyone
My monarch caterpillars are dying when the reach medium size
They have plenty of plants to ear and there are no visible fungi or aphids or harmful inhibitors on or near the plants
What is wrong with them and how do I help them?
The babies and older caterpillars are fine

Hi Rebecca

That’s pretty strange! Have you just bought the plants or did you grow them yourself? Keep the plants well watered – it has been very hot and perhaps the toxicity is too strong.

I hope some other people will have some ideas. Meanwhile look at hot tags to the right such as “disease” and see if that rings any bells.
