    Email in this morning:

“I am not a forum member but do read your website. I have more than 70 swan plants in Lower Hutt and have not had a single monarch this season. If you have members who are looking to relocate their caterpillars on to fresher pasture you are welcome to refer them to me. My email address is milnesking at gmail dot com .

    Kind regards
    Catherine Milnes

Catherine, I hope monarchs have visited your many plants. I am in Seatoun and you may have read that the monarch eggs took 77+ days to butterfly birth. By that time all the winter over monarchs had long died. My observation is that there are far less monarchs than last season.
