Hi, I’m just new here, from Oz. Is there somewhere in Oz that I can get more info from? My friend in NZ says she sometimes buys the swanplants with eggs on them. Was wondering if we can do that here too?

Hi Jan – sorry for the delay.

Don says: The plants grow wild in the nature strips along the main roads
in NSW and Qld. Just drive slowly to spot them.

Ellen says: I was born in Blackheath, not far from Katoomba. It is possibly too cold for Monarchs up there. It’s 3000 ft above sea level.

Hope this helps! You could join the ausnzleps@googlegroups.com and post there, that might work.

Thanks for that – I have a few contacts in Australia so have sent an email to them. Let’s see what feedback we get.
