I have 111 swan plant and only see one monarch a day if that! I saw a yellow admiral yesterday.

Cool, I wish I saw one but haven’t yet. What’s the chance of me seeing one before Christmas?

It is the large Urtica Urens, would it be best if I put the nettle in the garden? I haven’t seen any Red or Yellow Admiral caterpillars or butterflies on the nettles.

I’m sure it is a similar species but the Yellow admiral we see is found only in new zealand, but I’m not sure if it’s the Red admiral or the Yellow admiral that has similar species over seas, I think it’s the Yellow

So you’re saying the Red Admiral is more likely to be extinct before the Forest Ringlet? The Yellow Admiral must be in huge trouble then. But that doesn’t change the way I feel about the Forest Ringlet, I’d rather people be extinct than anything.

Sadly they got to that point if they get any rarer it may almost be impossible to find enough to breed 🙁

Ok, there are currently 8752 left! We gotta do something about it, I’m getting very worried about forest ringlets, in about 87 years they might be extinct if no one does anything.

Ok, I can’t see any but I planted heaps of them almost a month ago, should I wait much longer?

I hope the Forest Ringlet does breed more, I see it’s foodplant nearly everywhere I go but not once in my life have I seen a Forest Ringlet so it would probably need a large amount of people breeding them indoors due to all the wasps, and keep breeding them so their numbers can slowly rise, the only hard part is finding them.

Would nettles grow better in a pot or in the garden?

Even if I try to breed them their numbers won’t go down so quickly, I’ll try and breed them, the only thing is the last time I saw admirals that were in the wild was over a year ago so there may not be enough to see the nettles I’ll plant
