Posters & Tea Towels

We have several full-colour posters with stunning photographs available. These are original artwork, and come in various sizes:

A4 – $6.50 and A3 – $12.00 each. These prices include postage and packaging. The A4 size is mailed flat, but the A3 needs to be rolled and posted in a tube (reduced cost for more than one). Larger sizes and laminates can be arranged, please inquire.

Prices are in NZ$. We are happy to send all items (except seeds) overseas, but will need to negotiate a special price depending on currency fluctuations and postage and packaging.

Poster: NZ Butterfly Identification

These wipeable posters feature all of New Zealand’s butterflies – plus a few of the visitors that come from Australia too. All lifesize, with some interesting facts about the individual butterflies. Folded for ease of use and you can put them in a daypack.

All butterflies are represented life-size, and scientific name, a brief description, and information about the foodplants of larva are given. Most species, except for the rare visitors, are also accompanied by a distribution map.

Artwork is by Brian Hargreaves, and text by George Gibbs. Scientific names are used according to Fauna of New Zealand 14 Lepidoptera pp 135 -139, by JS Dugdale. Produced by the Entomological Society.

Tea-towel: NZ butterflies and flowers

Beautiful tea-towels featuring three of NZ’s precious butterflies (red admiral, yellow admiral and forest ringlet). It’s beautiful enough to frame! Great idea to send to people overseas.

Made of 100% cotton, it includes some of NZ’s flowers too: hoheria, kaka beak, kowhai, Chatham Island forget-me-not, pohutukawa and puriri. Size is approx 480mm x 800mm.
