Flattened shape. Feeds on both flax species. Rests at plant base in daytime, makes slot-like windows under leaves at night.
Pupa
Pupates in detritus at plant base.
Adult/Imago
Silky white wings, occasionally with brownish suffusion. Rarely seen as adult. September to March. Flies from dusk, attracted to light.
